SafetyFlex is the only fencing option if you are serious about protecting the wellbeing and value of your livestock.
Think of SafetyFlex as a safety belt for your horses.
The SafetyFlex system has been engineered to provide the optimum balance between equine safety and containment. Rails are highly visible and have no sharp edges. Low profile brackets complement its smooth appearance and enhance protective qualities. Unlike traditional fencing systems, this fence will flex and return against low to medium level collision. In the case of severe impacts, SafetyFlex is designed to reduce danger to livestock by stretching and cushioning impact.
Unlike wooden post and rail systems, SafetyFlex is unappetizing to animals. That means no windsucking or cribbing. Unlike standard wire fencing, Safety Flex has no exposed wires to rust, tangle or injure your animals. Similar products have been produced by the same manufacturer in Australia since the mid 1980s. These products were designed in Australia, to meet the demands of harsh Australian conditions. You can see examples right across Australia from Mount Kosciusko to Darwin, from Tasmania to Cairns, from Melbourne to Perth. Correctly tensioned, the SafetyFlex family of fence products look as good as they did years ago, unaffected by UV, sunshine or heat. Be aware of lesser imitations.

Why is it so strong?
SafetyFlex is constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) encapsulated in UV resistant Polyolefin. HDPE is the same material used in plastic fuel tanks. Wholly enclosed into each rail are two strands of OneSteel's 2.80mm Waratah® High Tensile Longlife™ wire. A really tough combination!
SafetyFlex combines strength with aesthetics. This fence looks great, and withstands heavy impact, without destruction of the fence, or injury to precious livestock.
